Description
After a long stretch of record breaking heat and high humidity a cold front moved in and created dangerous weather conditions which included tornado warnings. I shot this from my back deck moments before large hail started to fall. I'm not a storm chaser but am mesmerized by cloud formations. However, being the sensible woman that I am, I grabbed my purse, phone, flashlight, radio, drinks, munchies and laptop and headed down to a safer area in my basement. Then the power went out. Thankfully other than tree limbs breaking a tornado did not develop.

This is crazy beautiful. Nice capture, but I think I would have been terrified.

That stom was so fierced that the next town ..Burlington , Ontario in Canada, that over 70 hydro pilons came craching down to the ground taking one pilon and the wires where pulling the next one , and the next one! I was insane!
Barbara McMahon replied:
Thank you Danielle for your comments. The first storm had passed and this was just before the second wave hit. It was unnerving to witness it develop.

Thank you Kellice! I hope you didn't experience rough weather. This shot was directly above my head and I must say....sent me running for cover!
