Description
In Grimsby, Ontario there is a long fence which was built and painted to look like a piano keyboard. White keys and black keys. The owners hang the Canadian Flag on it.
As we approach Canada Day this year, 2021, Canadians will celebrate, but there will also be time for reflection, prayer, compassion, truth and reconciliation with the Indigenous Peoples of this land. The sad discoveries made at Residential Schools has shocked the nation. Hopefully this Canada Day will be one of support and healing for all those affected.

Canada, eh? There was a time when I thought eh was a word. When I was in the city of Niagara Falls, a Candian guy detected my accent and said, "you're not from around here, eh?" I said, "No, I'm not --- eh." I read your sweet biography with delight --- twice. I can see that you are not only an accomplished artist, but also a scholar. Your statement about your flickering, ephemeral place in the universe reminded me of the 20th century philosopher Alan Watts. He said, "The mystery of life is not a puzzle or a problemt to be solved. It's a reality to be experienced." At times, I have also quoted the German physicist Max Planck who wrote, "Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of life. That's because in the last analysis, we ourselves are a part of the mystery that we're trying to solve."
