During one of my hikes in the autumn I came across this handsome fellow a Fawn Great Dane. He had loped down the trail ahead of his master and came to a halt when he saw me. His master told me he was a Service" dog that works with the disabled and elderly population. The red cape had the insignia of the organization that does such fine work.

Thank you Bob. I sitting on the ground hoping to spot a big buck I had seen earlier. No buck but this Great Dane was almost as big!
