Description
I almost stumbled upon this beautiful little fawn today. He was fast asleep and only 2 feet away. For a moment I thought he was sick...but as soon as I snapped this photo he bounded away and hid in the Ostrich Ferns. What a delightful moment! Thank you for viewing. Barbara McMahon

Indeed, that was a very rare opportunity to stumble upon a young and su healthy looking fawn. Hopefully, it survived the frost last night.

Thank you so much Dave! I was literally just walking through this field and almost stepped on him! I must say I immediately turned into a little girl, squealing with delight and have been elated ever since! The importance of nature cannot be underestimated. :)
