Description
A few minutes before this solo canoeist had slowly made his way across a thick bank of fog on Pog Lake in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada. I watched as he cautiously proceeded and eventually went through a narrows. I scrambled through the thick forest to see if I could catch a glimpse of him. This is what he and I both saw. The sun was burning off the mist in that section of lake. Rising wisps of golden fog twirled around him. This mesmerizing sight stopped both of us. He just sat still and "Took It All In". I Love this shot Barbara! It reminds me of the 1981 movie, "On Golden Pond", starring Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn. To see the rising mist at early dawn and the reflections on the water, combine to make this artwork all the more alluring. L&F
